Winchester Highwall Schuetzen

30" #3, gain-twist, tapered octagonal barrel. Marked "J. Stevens A & T Co. in .28-30-120 Stevens.

Barrel originally made by Stevens for a highwall, and rifled on H. M. Pope's machine at Stevens, after Pope left the company.

Excellent wood, carved by Bob Tyler, stockmaker. New, case hardened buttplate, 50% case on receiver, lever in white, barrel a bit brown, excellent bore.
