The Schuetzenguilde's Oktoberfest went off without a hitch on the 24th thru the 26th. We had 16 competitors — with two new (to us) shooters. Welcome to Randy Aurella and C.W. Floyd! We would also like to welcome back an old shooter who has been gone too long — Barry Darr. Anyone for .22 cal lead bullets at 200 yards? The weather was very nice for the weekend, with some very calm conditions at times during the early mornings. It was challenging to get in all 300 shots for record! Many thanks to all who helped out and especially to our Schuetzenmeister Russ Hooks for putting on another great match! The dinner was delicious, as usual. Thanks also to Mr. John Thiele for the prizes and decorations, and to Mr. Steve Adams for his help with the cooking. Mr. Fred Nace set up and ran the Zimmerstutzen match, which was enjoyed by many.
