  The Schuetzenguilde held its annual ISSA Regional match on 21 — 23 April, 2017 under good conditions and very pleasant weather. It was a safe and very enjoyable match, with some stiff competition for most of the matches. Match winner was Mr. Bill Polkinhorn, despite recording only 1 center! I don't believe that's ever been done before! Congratulations Bill! Congratulations also to Mr. Russ Hooks for his across-the-board win in the Quarterbore match! The competitor's meal Saturday evening was a very nice dinner at Filippi's restaurant in Jamul. It was delicious! Thanks go to the Schuetzenmeister, Russ Hooks, for organizing and putting on the match. It is much appreciated!
